A and W Porch Art began when best friends ALEXA BECKMAN and WENDY GRUDZINSKAS started creating art for their own porches. Soon they received requests to make art for friends' houses as well. Inspiration from the beach, as well as encouragement from their families and neighbors, led to where they are today.
The fun of porch art is that it's just for fun. "It is what it is," as Wendy and Alexa like to say. It's for folks who take time to sit in rocking chairs, watch the sunset and talk about the thoughts of the day.
