THE GALLERY HAS MOVED TO 76-B SAN MARCO AVENUE, just 2 blocks north of the St. Augustine Visitors Center Parking Garage! (1/31/15)
BARBARA GREEN has always been intrigued by nature, receiving inspiration from the beauty of the ocean and beaches of St. Augustine. She has been collecting shells and fishing here since 1978.
"I love creating my art from the very things I find so lovely," Barbara says. "Almost all of my shells are gathered locally, sometimes while fishing or given to me by friends. I personally sort and clean all pieces for perfection. I hope others will see a little bit of me in all of my shell decor."
Barbara is locally-famous for her original oyster and mussel shell "pie" candleholders, and has a large customer following for her oyster and beach shell mirrors, lamps, wall sconces, jewelry boxes, candlesticks and more.
