After being a magician in the Midwest for 42 years, STEVE RYDER set down the magic wand and picked up the paintbrush to pursue a career as a professional artist in St. Augustine, FL.

Steve has been drawing and painting since an early age. In addition to the wonderful whimsical paintings he sells in High Tide Gallery, Steve illustrated the successful "What's In My Pocket?" - a fun kids' book by Todd Key. Steve has two kids himself - Kim and Kyle - and enjoys sailing, fishing, sushi, magic and documentaries. Steve graces our gallery with his beaming smile, high enthusiasm and new feel-good paintings.
