JANET MULLIGAN
“Thirteen years ago my life changed. I now looked at the world differently. Mundane experiences became brand new and I found beauty in unusual places… the iridescence of a trout, the design in a dragonfly’s wing. Clouds are not really white anymore to me,” Janet says.
“Thirteen years ago I discovered the world of glass. I went away for the weekend to a ranch in the middle of nowhere down ribbons of dirt roads to take introductory class on fusing glass. Newy Fagan, the teacher/artist in her remote paradise in the middle of the Ocala National Forest, opened my eyes to a new world. Since that time I just can’t stop fusing glass. I retired from my 32-year career in education and I now fuse full-time. I hope you enjoy what you see. Janet may be reached at HighTideGallery@gmail.com
