Bruce’s acrylic paintings evoke the peaceful rhythms of island life, capturing nature’s quiet moments from memory and deep observation.
Raised in New York, Bruce Kinzel moved to south Florida in 1969. He soon after discovered Chokoloskee Island. A self-taught artist, most of his work is inspired by his time on the water fishing. His paintings are his observations from nature. Many of his landscapes are put together by memory. He currently paints with acrylics and lives in south Florida with his wife, Rebecca.
