Carolyn Gray
St. Augustine, FL
Watercolor

Carolyn’s watercolor paintings bring beloved pets and animals to life with expressive brushwork that captures their spirit and personality.
Carolyn has lived in St. Augustine for over twenty years, having first been drawn to the country's oldest city by the beauty of the ocean, abundant wildlife, and hidden charms.
Carolyn's work hangs in various venues nationwide and, although accomplished in different styles and mediums, her favorite remains watercolor. Carolyn states, "I prefer the flow and movement of watercolor, helping create an image in a unique way that simply cannot be accomplished with the stroke of a brush alone."
Carolyn's favorite subjects are animals and pets. Carolyn offers and commissions pet portraits through the Gallery.
"I love to bring out the distinct personality of each individual animal, creating a keepsake and treasured remembrance of a beloved pet."
"Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened." — Anatole France
