Tracy DeCamp
St. Augustine, FL
Prints, Paintings

Tracy’s work radiates with light, color, and spirit—inviting viewers into a world where nature, emotion, and divine inspiration meet.
Born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Tracy DeCamp has followed a creative path from an early age. Her artistic journey began at just five years old when she used crayons to transform a piece of driftwood into a colorful snake—an early glimpse into the vivid imagination and attention to detail that would come to define her work.
She studied fashion in art college and later freelanced as an illustrator for local boutiques, all while continuing to paint and show her work. After years spent in Tampa and Seattle, Tracy returned to Florida in October 2023 to be closer to family and the coastal landscapes that have long inspired her. Now living in St. Augustine, she has embraced this new chapter with renewed creative focus.
Tracy’s work spans multiple media—oil, acrylic, colored pencil, and mixed media collage—often integrating hand-torn papers, found objects, and layered textures. Her pieces are recognized for their vibrant hues, richly rendered textures, and expressive detail. Subjects often include animals and natural elements, brought to life through captivating eyes and intricately depicted feathers or fur that invite deeper contemplation.
At the heart of her art lies a spiritual force. Tracy draws inspiration from the Holy Spirit, from nature, and from light itself, channeling those elements into pieces that are as emotionally resonant as they are visually compelling. Her art lives in private collections across the U.S. and has earned honors such as Best of Show from the American Penwomen of Tampa and Best of Graphics from Evans Run in Maryland. One of her works is part of the collection at the Natural History Museum in Marathon, Florida.
Now a resident artist at High Tide Gallery, Tracy continues to explore and expand her creative voice—rooted in faith, color, and the intricate beauty of the natural world.
