Artist GG Northington grew up surfing and racing motorcycles in southern California.

 

Living on the beach, GG, her husband, Rob, and their dingo dog, Bella, spent plenty of time walking on the beach collecting seashells and when they were lucky - sea glass.

 

As people stopped treating the ocean like a landfill, fewer beautiful glass jewels became available. Therefore, to create her “sea” glass art, GG has learned how to recreate the ocean’s wonders by smoothing out and polishing recycled, vintage glass.

 

GG combines her created seaglass with naturally occurring jewels she still collects to create her amazing pieces of art.
